Medical Administrator - Leading Medical Provider

A leading Medical Provider based in Andersonville, Chicago is looking to recruit a ‘Medical Administrator’.
 
The role is paying up to $45K and is on a permanent contract.
 
You MUST have at least one year experience as a Medical Practitioner.

Short Description –

• Answer phones, greet patients and other visitors when they arrive
• Collect co-pays, coinsurance and self-pay payments
• Work with other team members to implement systems, programs, and processes
• Schedule patient appointments and complete new patient intake procedures
• Distribute forms and paperwork and check them over to ensure that required fields are completed properly
• Manage inventory of necessary office supplies and coordinate reordering
• Assist in managing patient flow: check in and check out

Skills / Experience Required-

• Have a basic understanding of human anatomy & physiology.
• Knowledge of various treatment concepts and exercises
• Ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
• Outgoing and vibrant personality
• Quick learner that’s able to work independently.
• 1+ years of experience working in a healthcare setting
• 1+ years of experience in electronic health records software
