Senior Embryologist - Leading Private Clinic

A leading Private clinic based in Central London are looking to recruit a 'Senior Embryologist'

You MUST have previous experience working as a Embryologist.

This role is Monday -Friday, 8am -4pm with one weekend a month (Saturday and Sunday) with the opportunity that some shifts could be completed remotely.

The role is paying £58K - £63K (Dependant on experience)

Duties and Responsibilities

• Meet the individual needs of patients and their partners including both the provision of information and clinical care
• Assist with cryo storage management
• Maintain full and proper records in compliance with prevailing legislation and regulation, as well as participating in data analysis and audit
• Comply with HFEA requirements in assisting the Person Responsible and in relation to the laboratory
• Report incidents and non-compliance with regulations to Laboratory Director
• Inform patients of treatment options, treatment outcomes and discuss the implications to obtain fully informed consent
• Deal with telephone and e-mail enquiries in a professional manner, with empathy, and ensure that all information given is up to date, accurate and in line with the clinic’s policies
• Maintain a high level of confidentiality at all times
• Participate in ‘on call’ out of hours laboratory rota, weekend work rota and bank holiday rota as required

Required experience and skills

• Previous experience in ICSI
• Biopsy experience
• Managing staff members or workloads
